WHAT WE DO
The Guatemalan Center of New England was founded in 2010 as a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to encourage and disseminate Guatemalan culture through community events that promote education, health & wellness, and arts & culture.
In 2016, the City of Providence and Guatemala City signed a sister city agreement in an effort to strengthen and expand in areas related to economic development, education, tourism, and culture.​
